Donald Trump pulled out of another mainstream interview Thursday\u2013this time nixing a sit-down with NBC News.<\/p>\n

The interview, CNN reported<\/a>, would be in Philadelphia with NBC News’ senior business correspondent, Christine Romans. CNN\u2019s Brian Stelter said one source suggested that it had only been \u201cpostponed.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was the second time in a week that he had canceled a scheduled appearance outside the conservative news sphere, CNN\u2019s Reliable Sources reported Thursday. He had canceled an in-studio appearance on the CNBC flagship show, Squawk Box<\/i>, which was due on Friday.<\/p>\n

His team claimed to Politico<\/i> that he was unable to do the CNBC interview on Friday because he would be in Michigan. But in fact he will be just a few blocks away from the CNBC studio on Friday morning: appearing live on Fox & Friends<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The MAGA-friendly network teased Trump\u2019s upcoming appearance on its chyron Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

The Trump campaign did not specifically address the reasons for the cancellations in response to a request for comment. <\/p>\n

\u201cUnlike Kamala Harris, President Trump has long maintained an aggressive campaign schedule that changes day-to-day, and he has sat for local, state, and national interviews almost daily,\u201d Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign\u2019s press secretary, told the Daily Beast, adding that Trump will continue meeting Americans where they are\u2014 from rallies to the airwaves.\u201d<\/p>\n

But another cancellation occurred on Thursday. The NRA announced that Trump <\/a>had backed out<\/a> of its planned event next week in Savannah, citing a \u201ccampaign scheduling conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n

The media shyness follows a rash of odd behavior exhibited by Trump at his rallies, beyond just his meandering and sometimes nonsensical soliloquies. <\/p>\n

He danced on stage and played music\u2014ranging from \u201cAva Maria\u201d to the Village People\u2019s \u201cYMCA\u201d\u2014on stage at a rally in Pennsylvania last week. The incident was widely viewed as bizarre at best, with the Twittersphere lighting up with questions about the 78-year-old former president\u2019s mental acuity.<\/p>\n

Even Vice President Kamala Harris tweeted: \u201cI hope he\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
