Image credit: Stefan Wisnoski, Riot Games<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Indian esports organisation <strong>Global Esports<\/strong> has signed former Paper Rex (PRX) player Patrick \u2018<strong>PatMen<\/strong>\u2018 Mendoza to complete its VCT Pacific 2026 roster.<\/p>\n<p>Joining PRX in March 2025 after playing in the VALORANT Challengers League for the past two years, PatMen quickly established himself as a key player in the team\u2019s success. That being said, Paper Rex decided to part ways with the player. <\/p>\n<p>The organisation explained that the decision was made after an \u201cinternal review\u201d involving the players, coaches, and performance staff, according to an <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/pprxteam\/status\/2000430704631701659\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">official statement on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"esi-heading-69434233e9900\">\n<h2><span id=\"global_esports_roster_features_familiar_faces\">Global Esports\u2019 Roster Features Familiar Faces<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>With PatMen joining, Global Esports has put together a six-man roster for the upcoming 2026 season. <\/p>\n<p>Savva \u2018<strong>Kr1stal<\/strong>\u2018 Fedorov, Go \u2018<strong>UdoTan<\/strong>\u2018 Kyung-won, and Derrick \u2018<strong>Deryeon<\/strong>\u2018 Yee Dong Ting were retained from the 2025 roster. Meanwhile, Kale \u2018<strong>autumn<\/strong>\u2018 Dunne and Xavier Hebron \u2018<strong>xavi8k<\/strong>\u2018 Juan were brought in alongside PatMen.<\/p>\n<p>Autumn previously played for FunPlusPhoenix in <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2024\/11\/who-are-the-valorant-vct-china-partner-teams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VCT China<\/a>, while xavi8k joins from NAOS Esports, a team from VCL Southeast Asia. The two were initially signed temporarily to replace Joseph Oh \u2018Ban\u2019 Seung-min and Chae \u2018yoman\u2019 Young-mun for the <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/10\/every-vct-off-season-2025-event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SOOP VALORANT League<\/a> Southeast Asia Qualifier, but their performance earned them the right to stay for the whole season.<\/p>\n<p>Global Esports also unveiled the team\u2019s coaching staff, which will be led by Hector \u2018<strong>FrosT<\/strong>\u2018 Rosario, formerly of TALON Esports. He will be supported by assistant coach Vladimir \u2018<strong>vladk0r<\/strong>\u2018 Kornev, data analyst Daniel \u2018<strong>Platoon<\/strong>\u2018 Zhou, and analyst Thong \u2018<strong>balax<\/strong>\u2018 Chern Kwi.<\/p>\n<p id=\"esi-heading-69434233eb747\">\n<h2><span id=\"paper_rex_faces_roster_building_delays\">Paper Rex Faces Roster Building Delays<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>PRX, on the other hand, has yet to unveil its fifth player for the upcoming season. <\/p>\n<p>According to the organisation, there have been unexpected complications arising from premature information leaks, leading to delays and extensions during the negotiation period. That said, PRX is expected to only replace PatMen for 2026, with Ahmad \u2018<strong>d4v41<\/strong>\u2018 Khalish Rusyaidee bin Nordin, Jason \u2018<strong>f0rsakeN<\/strong>\u2018 Susanto, Ilia \u2018<strong>something<\/strong>\u2018 Petrov, and Wang \u2018<strong>Jinggg<\/strong>\u2018 Jing Jie all staying.<\/p>\n<p>The new VALORANT season for Paper Rex and Global Esports will start on January 22nd with the VCT Pacific: Kickoff.
