TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:<\/strong> Signing<\/em><\/p>\n Inter Miami CF<\/a> have signed left back Sergio Reguil\u00f3n, the club announced Monday. He is under contract through December 2027 with an option until December 2028.<\/p>\n The 28-year-old Spanish international was a free agent. He most recently played for English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n Reguil\u00f3n helps replace iconic left back Jordi Alba<\/a>, who retired<\/a> after Inter Miami won MLS Cup 2025 presented by Audi.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a very ambitious project, a winning club that is doing things the right way, and that\u2019s what attracted me: coming here to keep winning and competing,\u201d said Reguil\u00f3n.<\/p>\n \u201cMy objective is to keep winning, go after the trophies we\u2019re missing, and win everything here.\u201d<\/p>\n Since developing in Real Madrid’s academy, Reguil\u00f3n has played more than 260 professional matches. He’s also competed for Sevilla and Atl\u00e9tico Madrid in his native Spain, as well as Tottenham, Manchester United and Brentford in the EPL.<\/p>\n The defender won the 2019-20 Europa League with Sevilla and the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup<\/a> with Real Madrid.<\/p>\n Reguil\u00f3n has earned six caps with Spain, last appearing in a 2022 FIFA World Cup<\/a> qualifier.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
