\n\tCiara<\/a> is set to headline at TikTok<\/a>\u2018s inaugural TikTok Awards<\/a>, the platform revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, <\/em>days before the ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles this week. <\/p>\n \n\tWith the awards, TikTok is hoping to fill a gap in recognizing the digital creator ecosystem . Hosted live at the Hollywood Palladium on December 18, the TikTok Awards will stream live on the platform on December 18, and it will air on Tubi<\/a> as well, where it will also be available to watch on demand the next day. Red Carpet will start on TikTok Live at 5 p.m., and the awards will begin at 6 p.m. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like performing for a community that loves movement, music, and expression as much as I do,\u201d Ciara said in a statement. \u201cThe\u00a0TikTok\u00a0platform plays a significant role in entertainment. It is one of the most influential platforms in the world. The\u00a0TikTok Awards are all about celebrating that spirit, and I\u2019m honored to hit the stage for first-ever show in the US.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tAside from Ciara, TikTok also unveiled more presenters for the awards, with TikTok creators REI AMI, Tan France, Tefi Pessoa, Justin Danger, Patrick Starrr, Carter Gregory and Ashby Florence all confirmed.
