Per Sergeant Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department, \u201cThere is no indication of any operating issue with the attraction, which reopened soon after.\u201d<\/p>\n<div data-pmc-adm-ad-id=\"1234758890\">\n<h3>\n\t\t\tPopular on Variety\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\n\tHaunted Mansion is described on Disneyland\u2019s website as a \u201cslow-moving\u201d attraction that is OK for \u201clittle ones.\u201d It says under guest policies: \u201cThe ride itself is gentle, but young children may be frightened by the special effects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe ride first opened at the California amusement park in 1969 in the New Orleans Square area. The seasonal makeover began as a yearly tradition starting in 2001. Haunted Mansion is not based on preexisting IP, but the ride spawned two movies, a 2003 film starring Eddie Murphy and a 2023 reboot with LaKeith Stanfield.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe ride takes visitors through a ghost-infested manor and features floating heads, dancing spirits and a room with an ever-expanding ceiling.
