Lot more work to do, but great progress is being made on bipartisan legislation being passed this year<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IOHK_Charles\/status\/1968350044702273698?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">September 17, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although the details he shared about the meeting are scarce, executives from several of the largest US-based crypto companies have been involved in working on the GENIUS Act, which passed the Senate in July and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/fact-sheets\/2025\/07\/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-signs-genius-act-into-law\/\" target=\"_blank\">signed<\/a> into law by US President Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Experts believe the legislation can reshape cryptocurrency markets, while also enhancing adoption and transparency for stablecoins.<\/p>\n<p>Hoskinson\u2019s praise for Ripple in particular is something that seemed impossible just a year ago. Recall that the two sides had engaged in an online spat for a few years, especially since Hoskinson <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/IOHK_Charles\/status\/1604140129102094336?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1604140129102094336%7Ctwgr%5E6c5658c4fdb9058a832d784258f63f77be6ef6fc%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbeincrypto.com%2Fcardano-founder-hoskinson-distances-self-from-xrp-community%2F\" target=\"_blank\">referred<\/a> to the XRP Army as \u201ctoxic and petty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, both sides cleared the air in late 2024, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-cardano-mega-partnership-in-the-making-community-speculates\/\">reports<\/a> actually emerged that they could be working on a collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The speculations only intensified in the following months, especially since the launch of Ripple\u2019s stablecoin (RLUSD).
