The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development continues its efforts to monitor the implementation of the decision banning work under direct sunlight<\/a>, in order to protect the safety and health of workers and to ensure the provision of a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with occupational safety and health requirements. The decision, which is applied annually from June 15 to September 15, reaffirms the importance of preventive measures to protect workers during peak summer hours.<\/p>\n

\"Saudi<\/p>\n

As part of monitoring the implementation of this decision, the Ministry\u2019s inspection teams carried out more than 17,000 field visits across various regions of the Kingdom to verify establishments\u2019 compliance. A total of 1,910 violations were recorded against non-compliant establishments, while more than 300 reports were received and handled within the designated timeframes between the start of the decision and August 26.<\/p>\n

The Ministry, in partnership with the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, also intensified awareness efforts by publishing informational and educational materials aimed at raising awareness among workers and establishments about occupational safety and health standards.<\/p>\n

\"Saudi<\/p>\n

The Ministry affirms that these inspection and awareness efforts represent part of an integrated system designed to promote a preventive culture, achieve full compliance with regulations, and ensure the safety of workers at various worksites, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the work environment and raise occupational safety and health standards.<\/p>\n
