Vancouver Whitecaps FC<\/a> made it four Canadian Championship<\/a> titles in a row and booked their 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup<\/a> spot on Wednesday evening, courtesy of a 4-2 victory<\/a> over Canadian Premier League side Vancouver FC at BC Place.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Ali Ahmed<\/a> scored early for Whitecaps FC, settling Thomas M\u00fcller<\/a>‘s cross before sliding a left-footed shot inside the far post to put the hosts in front on five minutes.<\/p>\n

The Canadian international then drew a penalty kick that M\u00fcller finished clinically to double the hosts’ advantage five minutes later. It was the German legend’s 300th career goal (club and country).<\/p>\n

After Thierno Bah gave the underdogs a lifeline in the 35th minute, Ahmed struck for a brace one minute later.<\/p>\n

Whitecaps FC captain Ryan Gauld<\/a> made his long-awaited return from injury and scored in the 83rd minute, before Nicol\u00e1s Mezquida struck a consolation goal against his former club two minutes later.<\/p>\n
