Angels for MLB.com from 2012 to 2016.<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>LOS ANGELES &#8212; The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"fb7cf413-5156-9fc2-abe0-2273b89f70db\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/lad\/los-angeles-dodgers\">Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> will carry three catchers on their wild-card roster, including starter <a data-player-guid=\"7e560f9f-b486-f5f1-20a4-7699c1338287\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/38309\/will-smith\">Will Smith<\/a>, who has been dealing with a hairline fracture in his right hand.<\/p>\n<p>Smith will be joined by <a data-player-guid=\"b6d7f3a1-4415-36c7-adde-4c0fadf5d850\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4619839\/dalton-rushing\">Dalton Rushing<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"05867661-1d33-923e-5331-490f948e7489\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/40869\/ben-rortvedt\">Ben Rortvedt<\/a>, both of whom were added for extra protection in case Smith can&#8217;t go. The Dodgers instead left out <a data-player-guid=\"94373990-c2b3-8073-5e9f-00d5bcc9e078\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/33711\/michael-conforto\">Michael Conforto<\/a>, who had been their every-day left fielder for most of the season but struggled at the plate, slashing .199\/.305\/.333.<\/p>\n<p>Conforto&#8217;s absence means the Dodgers will likely go with <a data-player-guid=\"4b69afe3-99a2-3385-839d-03c59238daa2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/42468\/andy-pages\">Andy Pages<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"b36b2389-f8ea-858f-b985-6a7fa715c3c3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/33377\/teoscar-hernandez\">Teoscar Hernandez<\/a> in the outfield corners, with <a data-player-guid=\"0ffc6707-788d-30a1-0238-5cffffbec2f2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/39907\/tommy-edman\">Tommy Edman<\/a> playing center field and <a data-player-guid=\"ea277467-2165-b0fc-eff6-23b6173e7f17\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/30791\/miguel-rojas\">Miguel Rojas<\/a> at second base.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers and <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"04b65a0b-3cca-d795-0e21-23606470418a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/cin\/cincinnati-reds\">Cincinnati Reds<\/a> both announced their rosters for the best-of-three series Tuesday morning, ahead of Game 1 of their wild-card series from Dodger Stadium (9 p.m. ET, ESPN).<\/p>\n<p><a data-player-guid=\"73c04a1b-9b6e-338c-6967-fb1cd8ad0dcb\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/41172\/brady-singer\">Brady Singer<\/a>, who started Sunday&#8217;s regular-season finale, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/5195258\">Zach Maxwell<\/a>, a 24-year-old right-handed reliever who made eight appearances down the stretch, were the notable omissions from the Reds&#8217; roster.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds will start <a data-player-guid=\"97a645fb-5186-1a6d-3892-6e49d260b085\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/39635\/hunter-greene\">Hunter Greene<\/a>, <a data-player-guid=\"30389f3e-57f7-724d-6470-51b870edda33\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/36052\/zack-littell\">Zack Littell<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"3a81ab59-a326-31e7-9c98-0f9c09e26e18\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4414528\/andrew-abbott\">Andrew Abbott<\/a>, in that order, with fellow starter <a data-player-guid=\"4e3529e7-ab6a-3a42-a59b-e3c04345ba31\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/42433\/nick-lodolo\">Nick Lodolo<\/a> being deployed as a reliever because he pitched in relief in Milwaukee on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers will start <a data-player-guid=\"459f01d4-79d3-2e60-2427-fddc4a82f275\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/33748\/blake-snell\">Blake Snell<\/a>, <a data-player-guid=\"8f8c5b6b-ec0b-39fe-bf1d-871f55b0e5e6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4872587\/yoshinobu-yamamoto\">Yoshinobu Yamamoto<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"04a76996-4a5c-456d-8022-a9d45e3ff933\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/39832\/shohei-ohtani\">Shohei Ohtani<\/a>, respectively, and will carry four left-handed relievers &#8212; <a data-player-guid=\"1f181319-de51-1487-6dee-dd60f411346d\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/35135\/tanner-scott\">Tanner Scott<\/a>, <a data-player-guid=\"264b159e-992e-3f7d-83d4-c60f034b8dfc\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/42622\/alex-vesia\">Alex Vesia<\/a>, <a data-player-guid=\"c35ecb27-8fff-3fb3-beb1-0a5ae8c64c52\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4417203\/justin-wrobleski\">Justin Wrobleski<\/a> and <a data-player-guid=\"bb469471-ae2c-3ea2-884c-df9cbbb98983\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/5136082\/jack-dreyer\">Jack Dreyer<\/a> &#8212; against a Reds offense that struggled mightily against lefties this season.
