Reports in Germany state Cardiff City defender Jesper Daland is having a medical with German side Fortuna D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n

Dominik Schneider, journalist with FussballTransfers on the continent, reports the Bluebirds centre-back is on the verge of signing for the club on loan with an option to buy.<\/p>\n

The manager confirmed in his press conference on Thursday that he expected movement in and out of Cardiff<\/a> City Stadium before Monday’s 7pm deadline and it appears Daland is one heading for the exit door.<\/p>\n

Barry-Murphy confirmed earlier this month that the centre-back was in talks with other clubs.<\/p>\n

“Jesper’s in conversations with other clubs, so he’s not available,” Barry-Murphy said two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s contracted to the Bluebirds until June 2028 but reports from Germany suggest the loan deal has an option to purchase included.<\/p>\n

Fortuna D\u00fcsseldorf, who play in the second tier of German football, have picked up three points from their opening three games.<\/p>\n

It comes as Cardiff announced the signing of Gabriel Osho<\/a> on a four-year deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really happy, and really excited,” he said.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s been a long time in the works, so to finally be here at the stadium and in the city has been good. I\u2019m buzzing to get going.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrian played a big part. It\u2019s always important when the player has a good relationship with the manager.<\/p>\n

“I had a really good time at Rochdale, and the connection I built with Brian and the staff there was pretty amazing. I think the relationship really was a contributing factor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been watching the games so far, and the atmosphere is amazing.<\/p>\n

“Hopefully I can feed off the team\u2019s momentum, get going straight away, and just keep the wins and the clean sheets going.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bluebirds are set for a busy 72 hours, with a left-back and a winger said to be on their wishlist before the deadline ends.<\/p>\n

WalesOnline reported earlier this week that a Premier League wide player was on their agenda<\/a>, with a move said to be 50-50 at present.<\/p>\n

When asked if he anticipated any new arrivals before Monday evening, Barry-Murphy said on Thursday: “Yes. For our supporters, there have been different words used by me in terms of imminent, soon.<\/p>\n

“But because the end of the window is three days away, there is definitely going to be players coming in.<\/p>\n

“But I can’t say with any certainty at all what day it will be.”<\/p>\n
