He is facing charges of misdemeanor fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage under $1,000, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and second-degree criminal mischief.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the incident, Arkansas State Athletics released a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe Arkansas State Athletics Department is aware of a matter involving football student-athlete Ja\u2019Quez Cross that occurred early this morning, Sept. 13.
