ComPsych analyzed data from over six million global employees.<\/p>\n<p>ComPsych&#8217;s Chief Clinical Officer Jennifer Birdsall told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/09\/10\/the-share-of-workers-taking-mental-health-leave-is-up-300percent-from-pre-pandemic-levels.html\"><i>CNBC<\/i><\/a> that mental health leaves<b> <\/b>have increased &#8220;so tremendously&#8221; due to factors like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/employees-are-staying-put-in-jobs-causing-the-great-stay\/496362\" rel target=\"_self\">uncertain economic conditions<\/a>. Numbers were up 33% from 2022 to 2023, but then flattened out from 2023 to 2024. The number of leaves of absence in general was also flat from 2023 to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>A survey from business <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercer.com\/assets\/us\/en_us\/shared-assets\/local\/attachments\/pdf-2025-us-survey-on-health-and-benefit-strategies-for-2026.pdf\">consulting firm Mercer<\/a>, released earlier this year, asked more than 500 organizations what they were doing to support employee behavioral health.
