Kristin Cabot<\/strong>\u2019s estranged husband is speaking out on their relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shortly after news broke that the former Astronomer employee had <\/span>filed for divorce<\/span><\/a> from <\/span>Andrew Cabot<\/strong>, a spokeswoman for the businessman told <\/span>People<\/span><\/em><\/a> Sept. 8 that the couple were \u201cprivately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert,” where Kristin was seen on the jumbotron <\/span>cuddling up to her company\u2019s CEO<\/span><\/a> <\/span>Andy Byron<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,” the spokeswoman for Andrew, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum, shared. “Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they\u2019ve always valued.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The representative concluded that \u201cno further public comment will be made” by Andrew, who has two kids from a previous marriage, but shares no kids with Kristin.<\/span><\/p>\n

E! News has reached out to reps for Andrew and Kristin and has not yet heard back.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Aug. 13, Kristin filed a petition for divorce in Portsmouth, N.H., according to court documents obtained by <\/span>NBC News<\/span><\/a>. The next hearing in the case will be a scheduling conference on Nov. 26 in the family division of New Hampshire’s 10th Circuit Court.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prior to her divorce filing\u2014and one week after the infamous concert video went viral\u2014<\/span>Kristin resigned from her post<\/span><\/a> as Astronomer\u2019s chief people officer.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I can confirm that Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer,\u201d a company rep confirmed to <\/span>NBC News<\/span><\/a> in July. \u201cShe has resigned.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Five days before, the 52-year-old\u2019s former boss had also <\/span>left the DataOps company<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,” the company wrote in a statement to E! News July 19, noting the former CEO had failed to meet the company’s standards of conduct. “The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer <\/span>Pete DeJoy<\/strong> continues to serve as interim CEO.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Performing at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., on July 15, Coldplay<\/strong> frontman Chris Martin <\/strong>zeroed in on two people<\/a> who seemingly sprang out of each other\u2019s arms once they saw that they were on the jumbotron.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way we\u2019re going to do that is using our cameras,\u201d Martin told the crowd beforehand. \u201cSo, if you look at the screens, we\u2019re going to come looking and see who\u2019s out there to say hello to.\u201d First stop, a young man who was thrilled by an impromptu happy birthday tribute from Martin.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, look at these two,\u201d the singer said as the camera stopped next on the cozy-looking pair. But then the man ducked and the woman, her hands in front of her face, turned her back to the camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cEither they\u2019re having an affair or they\u2019re just really shy,\u201d Martin quipped. \u201cI\u2019m not quite sure what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the woman then left her seat, disappearing past the people behind her, the singer added, \u201cOh s–t! I hope we didn’t do something bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The moment was captured for posterity on video by concertgoer Grace Springer<\/strong><\/a> and, by the end of the night, internet sleuths had identified the squirrelly pair as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron<\/strong> and Astronomer Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot<\/strong>. Furthermore, as quickly deduced by TikTokers, X users, et al., Byron and Cabot are both married to other people.<\/p>\n

Who are Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot?<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Byron and Cabot are now-former coworkers who were spotted together at a Coldplay concert and became the talk of the internet. Neither has made any public comment about the incident so far and an apology purportedly from Byron that circulated online the next day was fake, according to Astronomer.<\/p>\n

In their respective lives, Byron was chief executive of data operations company Astronomer\u2014which, contrary to what many assumed at first glance, has nothing to do with space\u2014and Cabot was the firm\u2019s head of human resources.<\/p>\n

Astronomer confirmed July 24 to NBC News that Cabot had resigned.<\/p>\n

Both have since deleted their LinkedIn pages and multiple outlets have reported that Byron\u2019s wife deleted her Instagram and Facebook accounts. They reportedly share two sons.<\/p>\n

Cabot is now estranged from Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot<\/a><\/strong>, the sixth-generation descendant of a rum distiller of the same name dating back to the American Revolution, per multiple reports. According to the Boston Globe<\/a><\/em>, Andrew traded in a career in tech to found the spirits company in 2011.<\/p>\n
