LAGOS, Nigeria \u2014 Nigeria\u2019s Grammy award-winning superstar Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy<\/a>, has shared a startling revelation about what his life might have looked like if he had not pursued a career in music.<\/p>\n

During an interaction with a content creator, Burna Boy was asked what he would have become if he was not a singer.<\/p>\n

His response was blunt and unconventional.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are many options,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could be stealing oil, I could be playing basketball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything including a prostitute.\u201d<\/p>\n

The remarks sparked widespread reactions online, with many pointing to the artist\u2019s well-documented struggles before his rise to fame and his long-standing reputation for candid, sometimes controversial statements.<\/p>\n

Despite the provocative comment, Burna Boy continues to solidify his place in global music history.<\/p>\n

He recently achieved a new milestone, becoming the African artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His latest success came through his collaboration with American rapper Gunna on WGFT<\/em>, which debuted at number 96 on the chart this week.<\/p>\n

The feat brings Burna Boy\u2019s total Billboard Hot 100 entries to seven, making him the first African artist to debut a song on the chart for five consecutive years (2021\u20132025).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
