Erin Bates <\/strong>is recovering from a terrifying health crisis.<\/p>\n

After the Bringing Up Bates<\/em><\/a> star suffered complications following the birth of her and husband Chad Paine<\/strong>\u2019s seventh baby Henry<\/strong>, he shared an update on how she\u2019s been doing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery,\u201d Chad wrote on Instagram<\/a> Sept. 6 alongside a video of the reality star awake and giving kisses to their baby boy. \u201cYour prayers have definitely touched heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old\u2019s health update comes just two days after her husband shared that Erin had suffered a \u201clengthy and severe seizure<\/a>\u201d and was admitted to the ICU after developing a severe UTI and kidney infection, which sent her into septic shock<\/a>, shortly after giving birth.<\/p>\n

“Up to this point, Erins infection was getting better, but we found ourselves back in a place of heartache, uncertainty, and tears,” Chad\u2014who also shares kids\u00a0Carson<\/strong>, 10,\u00a0Brooklyn<\/strong>, 8,\u00a0Everly<\/strong>, 7,\u00a0Holland<\/strong>, 5,\u00a0Finley<\/strong>, 3,\u00a0William<\/strong>, 22 months, with Erin\u2014wrote on Instagram<\/a> Sept. 4. “The doctors are running scans and tests to determine the cause. Erin is extremely weak and spent hours only half conscious.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAs her husband, it is one of the hardest things I\u2019ve ever faced\u2014to sit by her side and watch her struggle while being so helpless to ease her suffering,\u201d he continued. \u201cI love her more deeply than words can express, and I can\u2019t even imagine life without my best friend.”<\/p>\n

Along with Chad, many of the reality star\u2019s 18 siblings also came together<\/a> to support Erin amid her hospitalization.<\/p>\n

Sharing a photo of Henry in her arms, Erin’s older sister\u00a0Michaela Bates Keilen\u00a0<\/strong>said she and her family have been “overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love, concern and prayer.”<\/p>\n

“A huge thank you to every who has been praying for my sister Erin and her family over the past few days,” she\u00a0wrote on Instagram<\/a>\u00a0Sept. 4. “Tho I have not been able to respond to every message please know that the comments, texts, and messages have touched our hearts deeply and we are so grateful.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
