The Kremlin on Wednesday (September 3) dismissed US President Donald Trump\u2019s suggestion that Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un were conspiring against the United States.<\/p>\n

Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov told Russian state television that Trump\u2019s words may not have been literal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to say that no one has been conspiring, no one has been plotting anything, no conspiracies,\u201d Ushakov said. \u201cNo one even had such a thought \u2013 none of these three leaders had such a thought.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI can say that everyone understands the role played by the United States, the current administration of President Trump, and President Trump personally in the current international situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump: \u201cVery disappointed with Putin\u201d<\/h2>\n

On Tuesday, Trump<\/a> said he was \u201cvery disappointed\u201d with Putin and suggested on Truth Social that Xi, Putin, and Kim were \u201cconspiring against the United States\u201d<\/a> as they met in Beijing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite his criticism, Trump<\/a> extended pleasantries in the same post: \u201cMay President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

Xi warns of global choice between \u201cpeace or war\u201d<\/h2>\n

At a massive military parade in Beijing<\/a>, Xi<\/a> was flanked by Putin<\/a> and Kim<\/a> in a rare show of unity. Addressing the crowd, Xi warned the world was facing a stark choice between peace and war, as China showcased its largest-ever military parade, capped with the release of 80,000 doves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Xi also held bilateral talks this week with both Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

Trump downplays concerns of axis formation<\/h2>\n

Asked whether he feared an \u201caxis\u201d forming against Washington, Trump insisted he was not worried.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI am not concerned at all \u2026 We have the strongest military in the world, by far. They would never use their military on us. Believe me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beijing, Moscow, Pyongyang display unity<\/h2>\n

Chinese state media highlighted Xi\u2019s meeting with Putin, whom he described as his \u201cold friend.\u201d Kim\u2019s presence alongside the two leaders marked an unprecedented public show of alignment between Beijing, Moscow, and Pyongyang.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
