Seven months ago in Miami Gardens<\/strong>, Notre Dame<\/a><\/strong> punched its ticket to the national championship game. The Fighting Irish now return to South Beach in a renewal of the Catholics vs. Convicts<\/strong> rivalry to open the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

Miami had the top offense in college football a year ago. But with Cam Ward<\/a><\/strong> going No. 1 overall in the NFL draft, the Hurricanes turned to the transfer portal and brought in Georgia quarterback Carson Beck<\/a><\/strong>, who will make his Miami debut on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
