The last we heard about Manor Solomon, it was in the context of potential transfer interest from Crystal Palace. But that was, like, two hours ago, which is a LIFETIME on transfer deadline day. I can only assume that deal has completely fallen apart.<\/p>\n

So enter Rudy Galetti, who says there\u2019s a new player in the picture for Solomon: Benfica.<\/p>\n

Honestly? Sure. Why not! Benfica\u2019s fine, and more importantly Benfica is not Tottenham Hotspur, which is pretty much the end goal here anyway. No idea whether this is a loan or a permanent deal \u2014 gun to my head I\u2019d guess probably a loan with an option, but this is the only report I\u2019ve seen that talks at all about Benfica.<\/p>\n

All I know is that Manor Solomon is at this point and time still a Tottenham Hotspur player and Benfica, or Palace, or whoever have about 20 minutes left to figure out what they want to do. Hopefully the answer they come up with is \u201cbuy him.\u201d<\/p>\n
