Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) is making a bold play this fall with the premiere of its new weekly sports series, GAME NOTES. Celebrating Louisiana\u2019s unmatched passion for college football, the series spotlights eleven teams from six conferences across the state.<\/p>\n
The season kicks off with the weekly GAME NOTES program beginning Saturday, August 30 at 10:00am, featuring pregame insights and analysis of the day\u2019s matchups. Then, watch for POST GAME NOTES beginning Sunday, August 31 at 6:00pm, a weekly wrap-up show highlighting the biggest plays and most memorable moments from Saturday\u2019s games. Both programs continue throughout the football season.<\/p>\n
Veteran broadcaster Victor Howell will host, alongside Super Bowl champion and former Saints\u2019 linebacker Scott Shanle. \u201cSome may be surprised to see sports coverage on LPB, but it\u2019s a natural fit,\u201d said Howell. \u201cFootball connects families, friends, and alumni across Louisiana.
