During a recent interview on the \u2018It\u2019s Giving\u2019 podcast, Snoop Dogg explained that his grandson was visibly affected by the scene involving two female characters sharing a kiss, questioning the Doggfather on how the couple had a baby. The rapper focused on his remarks on his reaction to the scene and his discomfort with addressing such topics unexpectedly as a grandparent.<\/p>\n
Around the 31-minute mark of the podcast, Snoop says<\/a>, \u201cWhy my grandson in the middle of the movie like \u2018Papa Snoop, how she have a baby with a woman? She\u2019s a woman.\u201d Snoop pauses and continues, \u201cOh shit, I didn\u2019t come in for this shit. I just came to watch the goddamn movie. Hey man, watch the movie. They just said she and she had a baby. They both women. How does she have a baby?\u201d<\/p>\n Pixar\u2019s \u2018Lightyear<\/em>\u2019 was drawn both support and criticism for its inclusion of an LGBTQ storyline, specifically the first same-sex kiss shown in a Disney movie. The moment was originally removed by Disney, but later reinstated after Pixar professionals revolted<\/a>. The film was banned in the United Arab Emirates<\/a> and other Muslim countries for depicting this kiss.<\/p>\n\u201cNow I\u2019m scared to go to the movies,\u201d Snoop continues<\/a>. \u201cLike y\u2019all throwing me in the middle of shit that I don\u2019t have an answer for. What you see is what you see, and they\u2019re putting it everywhere. I didn\u2019t come in for this shit. I just came to watch the goddamn movie. It threw me for a loop.
