Jamie Carragher<\/a> has revealed Arsenal<\/a>\u2019s biggest \u2018problem\u2019 this season and his \u2018worry\u2019 for Premier League<\/a> champions Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are expected to challenge for the title this season<\/a> after finishing first and second last term.<\/p>\n

The reigning champions have enjoyed a brilliant transfer window, spending almost \u00a3300m on the likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have also agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi<\/a> and are still expected to make another bid for Alexander Isak<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Arsenal, meanwhile, have made a number of strong signings themselves, bringing in Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke among others.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have finished as runners-up for three years in a row and as a result Carragher believes there is more \u2018pressure\u2019 on Arsenal than other club.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X<\/a>, the former Liverpool and England defender said: \u2018I think for Arsenal, I like the players they\u2019ve brought in.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I don\u2019t think there\u2019s an absolute game changer in terms of\u2026 Maybe upfront, you know, they\u2019ve brought in the striker and it will be really interesting to see how he does.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I just think with Arsenal, the problem they\u2019ll have is not so much whether they\u2019re good enough. I think, you know, if they can get back to where they were a couple of years ago, they\u2019ve got a chance.<\/p>\n

\u2018They\u2019ve got [Martin] Zubimendi and then the striker. But I think there\u2019ll be that much pressure on them, even from their own supporters in the stadium, it almost feels like it\u2019s now or never.<\/p>\n

\u2018If Arsenal finished second again, it won\u2019t be seen as a decent season. It\u2019ll almost be seen as a disaster. And playing with that pressure for the whole season I think is what will make it tough for them.\u2019<\/p>\n

Liverpool are favourites to win the Premier League once again but Arne Slot\u2019s side showed they are not unstoppable by losing the Community Shield to Crystal Palace at the weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Carragher described Liverpool\u2019s performance at Wembley as \u2018a little bit worrying\u2019 and cannot see his former club \u2018running away\u2019 with the title.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think a lot of the talk of the moment is that Liverpool could run away with the league because of what they\u2019ve done in the summer,\u2019 the 47-year-old pundit added.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t quite see that, and I actually think the way Liverpool played on Sunday, even though it was only one game, I thought it was a little bit worrying.<\/p>\n

\u2018Not so much the result, it was how the actual game went. It almost looked like they had too many attacking players on the pitch. I think it\u2019s going to be interesting how Arne Slot fixes that.\u2019<\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s title defence begins on Friday night against Bournemouth, while Arsenal start their Premier League campaign on Sunday against Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n
