Is Trump Going To Pardon Diddy?<\/h3>\n

Donald Trump is breaking his silence<\/a> and letting it be known\u2014Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs probably<\/em> won\u2019t be getting a presidential pardon anytime soon. In a new interview that aired Friday, August 1, on Newsmax<\/a>, the former president weighed in on Combs\u2019 legal situation<\/a> for the first time since the music mogul was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy<\/a> charges but found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution last month.<\/p>\n

When host Rob Finnerty asked if he would consider pardoning Diddy<\/a>, Trump gave one of his signature responses:<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, he was essentially, I guess, sort of half-innocent,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI don\u2019t know what they do, still in jail or something. But he was celebrating a victory, but I guess it wasn\u2019t as good of a victory\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI got along with him great. Seemed like a nice guy. I didn\u2019t know him well. But, when I ran for office, he was very hostile. \u2026 It\u2019s hard. We\u2019re human beings. We don\u2019t like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But, when you knew someone, and you were fine, and then you run for office\u2026 he made some terrible statements. So, I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s more difficult,\u201d he added. \u201cMakes it more, I\u2019m being honest, makes it more difficult to do,\u201d Trump revealed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
