CINCINNATI \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>Star guard Jizzle James has been posting head-scratching things on Instagram all summer, and it reached a weirder level in recent days when he attacked\u00a0new guard Sencire Harris with multiple slurs<\/a>.\u00a0All of the odd behavior has led\u00a0him\u00a0to\u00a0be removed\u00a0from the 2025-26 Cincinnati Bearcats roster.<\/p>\n \u201cJizzle James has been dealing with personal issues throughout the summer,”\u00a0Wes Miller said in a statement.\u00a0“We removed him from the team last month. He is currently not a member of our basketball program. As this is a personal matter, I will have no further comment at this time.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n James was not with the team<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0different\u00a0team-building activities at\u00a0points\u00a0this summer and had been posting\u00a0odd messages on his Instagram.\u00a0At one point recently, James posted a screenshot on his IG story that was a log of Harris sending him multiple messages that included\u00a0“If you going to come at me n****, come correct, watch who you talking to.”<\/p>\n James then said as a comment on the screenshot:\u00a0“Reason Ian (I didn’t) come back to school honestly, these n***** so p****.”<\/p>\n The 2025 All-Big 12 honorable mention player was\u00a0Cincinnati’s\u00a0scoring leader last season (12.7 ppg) and assist leader (3.5). He was one\u00a0of just\u00a0three Bearcats to start all 35 games, and he scored in double-figures 25 times.\u00a0James has\u00a0been a staple part of the program over the past two seasons, and now\u00a0that’s\u00a0all over\u00a0with\u00a0Cincinnati\u00a0fully\u00a0using\u00a0all of its scholarships this season to replace him.\u00a0Still, losing your top scorer and creator is a\u00a0major\u00a0blow at this point in the calendar.<\/p>\n UC has a deep guard option list to replace him in Kerr Kriisa, Day Day Thomas, and Keyshuan Tillery.\u00a0<\/p>\n Bookmark Bearcats Talk<\/a>\u00a0for the latest news, breakdowns, and so much more.
