Entertainment The Jonas Brothers have sold \u201ca significant portion\u201d of their catalog, but the IP is staying in the family \u2013 with a Kevin Jonas Sr.-founded \u201cinvestment entity\u201d assuming ownership. <\/strong><\/h2>\nSaid entity refers specifically to Jonas Catalog Holdings 1 (JCH1), which is partnered with Jonas Sr.\u2019s Jonas Group Entertainment (JGE). Nashville-based JGE, for its part, handles talent management, brand development, and more \u2013 besides operating Jonas Group Publishing, Jonas Catalog Holdings proper, and Red Van Records alike.<\/p>\n
Shifting the focus to the actual song-rights sale, JGE\/JCH1 opted against publicly disclosing a comprehensive list of involved works. However, the buyer did indicate that the transaction encompasses the act\u2019s \u201ctwo most recent albums, Happiness Begins<\/em> and The Album<\/em>,\u201d on top of \u201cLike It\u2019s Christmas\u201d (2019) and \u201cRemember This\u201d (2021).<\/p>\nAdditionally, Jonas Group Entertainment \u201cwill oversee and serve as the exclusive manager of the acquired assets\u201d \u2013 handling everything from admin and sync to licensing and catalog development, the appropriate entities spelled out.<\/h4>\n
