{"id":863460,"date":"2025-07-19T00:12:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T05:12:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/19\/nation-of-language-confirm-new-album-dance-called-memory\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T00:12:20","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T05:12:20","slug":"nation-of-language-confirm-new-album-dance-called-memory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/19\/nation-of-language-confirm-new-album-dance-called-memory\/","title":{"rendered":"Nation Of Language Confirm New Album \u2018Dance Called Memory\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"page\">\n<div>\n<p>Their first for Sub Pop&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\n                                            16 \u00b7 06 \u00b7 2025                                        <\/p>\n<div>\n<article id=\"article-full\" about=\"\/news\/track-of-the-day-284-lexie-carroll\" typeof=\"sioc:Item foaf:Document\">\n<div property=\"content:encoded\">\n<p>Brooklyn group <strong>Nation of Language<\/strong> have confirmed plans for new album \u2018Dance Called Memory\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The band have signed to revered American label Sub Pop, and will release their first LP through their care later this year.<\/p>\n<p>New album \u2018Dance Called Memory\u2019 is <strong><span><a href=\"https:\/\/nationoflanguage.bandcamp.com\/album\/dance-called-memory\">out on September 19th<\/a><\/span><\/strong> \u2013 it features 10 tracks, and was recorded with Nick Millhiser\u00a0in\u00a0New York City\u00a0and\u00a0mastered by Heba Kadry\u00a0in\u00a0Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>The group\u2019s fourth album to date, frontman Ian Richard Devaney has shared a note with fans, explaining some of the methodology behind the record.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a dichotomy between the Kraftwerk school\u00a0of\u00a0thought\u00a0and\u00a0the Brian Eno school\u00a0of\u00a0thought, each\u00a0of\u00a0which I\u2019ve been drawn to at different points.
