Christian YouTuber Kris Kdub of “All Things Theology,” whose real name is Kris Williams, was alleged to have engaged in an adulterous online relationship, which also resulted in seeking a divorce from his wife, according to his church. In a statement last Friday, pastors<\/a> Lynn Kahler and Landon Kozeny of Heritage Grace Community Church in Frisco, Texas, announced that the church can no longer endorse Williams in light of his sin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “In the past few months, the elders of HGCC were made<\/span>\u00a0aware that Kris has\u00a0<\/span>been actively engaged<\/span>\u00a0in an online, adulterous relationship with another woman. While there has not been any physical contact, his wife has provided undeniable evidence from his online Discord chats and phone calls that confirmed this relationship,” the pastors<\/a> said in a\u00a0<\/span>statement<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Despite Williams initially confessing and promising to sever ties with the woman, they later regained contact after the woman reached out to him and has since remained unrepentant.<\/span><\/p>\n “The elders and another brother of HGCC were proactively keeping<\/span>\u00a0Kris accountable to his confession and repentance. However, in a short time, he was contacted again by this woman, and soon after, the online chats and phone calls resumed,” the church statement adds. “Since being confronted again, Kris refuses to repent and has\u00a0<\/span>instead<\/span>\u00a0left his family and is pursuing a divorce from his wife.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In the meantime, the pastors<\/a> said Williams would remain under church discipline as they continued to encourage him to repent. They have also removed their endorsement of his ministry and as a “good-standing member” of the church.<\/span><\/p>\n “Kris has been placed under church discipline (according to Matthew 18<\/a>) for continuing to pursue an online, long-distance adulterous relationship with another woman (while married) and habitually living a double life. The church has been exhorted<\/span>\u00a0to pursue him\u00a0<\/span>with the purpose of calling<\/span>\u00a0Kris to repentance and reconciliation with Christ and his family. HGCC is making this a public notice because of Kris’ online ministry, ‘All Things Theology,’ which has\u00a0<\/span>been associated<\/span>\u00a0with HGCC,” the pastors wrote.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “Since he is no longer in good standing as a member of HGCC, we can no longer approve or promote his ministry in good conscience. We will continue to call him to repent from his sin, turn in faith to Christ to receive forgiveness, and be reconciled<\/span>. We ask the church to join us in praying for Kris and his family,” the statement concluded.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n All Things Theology, which<\/span>\u00a0has nearly 90,000 subscribers<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>is described as an apologetics channel, “a bold and unapologetic Christian YouTube channel that tackles false doctrine, exposes false teachers, and defends sound biblical truth.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Williams’ last video<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>was posted<\/span>\u00a0last Monday, just days before his church issued their public statement about him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n As The Christian Post<\/span><\/a>\u00a0reported, Williams announced that he and his wife would be the proud parents of an adopted baby boy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n “I’m a Father. My wife is a Mother. We are Parents Through the gift of adoption!” he wrote<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on July 4, 2023 on Facebook.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
