The first two 2025 US Open Cup<\/a> semifinalists emerged Tuesday night, with Minnesota United FC<\/a> and Austin FC<\/a> earning their spot in the tournament’s last four.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Four more MLS clubs will complete the quarterfinals<\/a> on Wednesday evening, as the tournament that rewards a 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup<\/a> spot, prize money and silverware moves closer to the Oct. 1 final.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Kelvin Yeboah<\/a> scored an extra-time brace as Minnesota United rallied for a 3-1 victory<\/a> over 10-man Chicago Fire FC<\/a> at Allianz Field.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Chicago, despite going down a man on an Omar Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a> red card, took the lead in the 28th minute on Brian Guti\u00e9rrez<\/a>‘s penalty kick goal.<\/p>\n

But Robin Lod<\/a> equalized for the hosts shortly after the break, setting up Yeboah’s heroics in extra time that sent the Loons into the semifinals.<\/p>\n
