Popular author and speaker Jennie Allen says a new kind of pandemic is spreading — one marked by anxiety<\/a>, not illness, and it’s hitting young people the hardest. The author of\u00a0Get Out of Your Head<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and the visionary behind the Gather25 conference, Allen recently released her first children’s book\u00a0<\/span>—<\/span>\u00a0What to Do With Your Whirly, Swirly Thoughts<\/em><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>— that<\/span>\u00a0addresses\u00a0<\/span>the subject of<\/span>\u00a0anxiety<\/a> and mental health in easy-to-understand language for children.<\/span>\u00a0It’s designed for young readers and illustrated by Nadia Gunawan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The pandemic of anxiety, Allen said, has “taken over the world.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I was seeing that in my own<\/span>\u00a0kids.
