Amenities include landscaped outdoor areas, a basketball court, a two-storey gym, a yoga studio, and a wellness zone.<\/p>\n<p>HG Construction did not disclose the value of the contract in a statement today (8 July).<\/p>\n<p>The purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project marks expansion for HG Construction, which has grown its national footprint to include Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle-upon-Tyne over the past four years.<\/p>\n<p>The contractor is active across the residential, hotel, retirement living and commercial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Fusion Group is the client on the scheme. The architect is Corstorphine &#038; Wright.<\/p>\n<p>The Bristol Road scheme is intended to meet demand for high-quality student housing with wellness-focused amenities and good access to Birmingham\u2019s universities.<\/p>\n<p>HG Construction chief executive Adam Quinn said the scheme was \u201can important milestone\u201d for the firm\u2019s national growth and would be delivered with a \u201ccommitment to quality, sustainability and collaboration\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Fusion Group group construction director Paul Miles said Birmingham was \u201cvital\u201d to the firm\u2019s long-term growth strategy and described <a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/financial\/profit-up-at-hg-construction-as-consolidation-pays-off-29-05-2025\/\">\u00a3387m-turnover HG<\/a> as a \u201cstrong partner\u201d for delivering complex purpose-built student accommodation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/buildings\/hg-secures-first-birmingham-pbsa-job-08-07-2025\/\" class=\"button purchase\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Read More<\/a><br \/>\n Ben Vogel<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HG Construction has secured its first project in Birmingham after the contractor was appointed by Fusion Group to deliver a 622-bed student accommodation scheme.
