Historically, this preference often came at the expense of the Girl Child, whose rights to education and opportunity were diminished in the name of cultural norms.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut today, the tides are turning, not for the better. The Boy Child is facing a silent crisis. More than ever, our boys are lost in a sea of silence, confusion, and destructive choices. That is why we are here to drum support for the RUBY Foundation and its bold mission,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Delta First Lady said it is time for urgent intervention, as more male children fall through the cracks of a rapidly changing society.\n<\/p>\n<p>The founder of the RUBY Foundation, Miss Omonigho Oborevweri, said her Foundation focuses on empowering boys \u2014 especially those from underserved communities.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Foundation\u2019s vision is clear: to raise a generation of boys who are seen, heard, and supported. Boys who are not afraid to feel, to learn, and to lead.
