Whenever you are starting a new business, please take your time to carefully consider your bank.<\/p>\n

Bank charges are typically not top of my priority list when choosing a bank. I worry that many people make it their priority, depriving themselves of other far more valuable things a bank can do for you.<\/p>\n

I look out for:<\/p>\n

  1. Technology<\/li>\n
  2. Access to relationship \u2013 Does account officer have my time?<\/li>\n
  3. Services\/Products that enhance customer experience (example \u2013 Providus Bank gives you instant alerts like opay and also give you a phone that sees alerts without balances)<\/li>\n
  4. Brand \u2013 Does the bank brand carry a strong brand that enforces brand trust to my customers?<\/li>\n
  5. Charges \u2013 Will the POS charges align with the margins of the business? What other charges?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Your bank is your business partner.
    You grow together.
    You make customers happy together
    You cry together<\/p>\n

    So you must choose the right partner to grow with.<\/p>\n
