By combining elite competition with DreamHack\u2019s festival energy, we\u2019re creating a new blueprint for global esports events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the Asian Champions League?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Announced earlier last year, the ACL is currently the premier and largest international multi-title esports event in Asia. Moreover, the winners of some of the ACL competitions, such as CS2, Honor of Kings, and Dota 2, can earn their access into the Esports World Cup, which is set to feature a record-breaking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esports.net\/news\/ewc\/esports-world-cup-announce-70-million-prize-pool\/\">$70 million prize pool<\/a>, the highest to date.<\/p>\n<p>The event is organized by Hero Esports (previously known as VSPO), the biggest tournament operator in Asia. Headquartered in Shanghai, the company has worked closely on global esports competitions such as the Olympic Esports Week and the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games.
