\n\tThe Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cStay\u201d has hit another milestone, as the music video for the viral hit reached one billion YouTube<\/a> views. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe milestone marks the Australian singer-rapper\u2019s first entry to the Billion Views Club and the Canadian superstar\u2019s 12th as a lead, featured artist or collaborator. In the clip, which was released in July 2021, the duo are frozen in time as LAROI navigates a broken heart.<\/p>\n

\n\tUpon its release, \u201cStay\u201d spent seven non-consecutive weeks atop the\u00a0Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, and also topped the Pop Airplay and the Adult Pop Airplay charts. The diamond-certified anthem won Top Hot 100 Song as well as Top Collaboration honors at the\u00a02022 Billboard Music Awards.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tIn the 2024 Prime Video\u00a0documentary<\/a>\u00a0Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named LAROI<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0the duo opened up about becoming musical collaborators. \u201cFrom the moment I met Justin, it was just all about positivity coming in here. No judgment zone, let\u2019s all have fun,\u201d Laroi says in the doc, before Bieber recalls: \u201cHe plays me this song, \u2018Stay,\u2019 and it was him on it by himself. He was like, \u2018I don\u2019t think I\u2019m gonna use it for my album.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Well, if you don\u2019t use it, give it to me. I\u2019ll use it. This is a great song.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
