Demi Lovato is married to Jordan \u201cJutes\u201d Lutes!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been over a year since Lutes presented the \u201cConfident\u201d singer<\/a> with a \u201cbespoke pear-shape diamond solitaire engagement ring<\/a>\u201d in December 2023. It certainly made sense to enjoy a long engagement, given the pair had been dating for less than a year before the \u201cpersonal and intimate proposal.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n

The duo reportedly met while cowriting her pop-punk track \u201cSubstance\u201d in January 2022, with Lovato \u201cinstantly\u201d forming a crush on the songwriter, as she later told Teen Vogue<\/em><\/a>. Even so, the pair waited \u201cseveral months\u201d before dating. \u201cWe became friends first,\u201d Lovato said on SiriusXM\u2019s Morning Mash Up<\/em><\/a> back in July 2023. \u201cWe were friends for several months, and then we decided to start dating after we told each other how we felt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once Lutes popped the question, they opted to wait a while before exchanging vows. \u201cWe\u2019re not trying to stress ourselves out,\u201d Lutes told People<\/em><\/a> in October 2024. \u201cWe\u2019re not trying to skip engagement to get right to wedding. We\u2019re just basking in it and soaking it up. We\u2019ll be married forever. We just want to enjoy every step.\u201d<\/p>\n

By February 2024, however, Lovato could no longer wait to be wed, as she wrote in a Valentine\u2019s Day tribute on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that,\u201d she captioned the post. \u201cI\u2019m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can\u2019t wait to grow old with you and start a family together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, the day has come\u2014and the pair certainly look good as bride and groom. Here\u2019s everything we know about Demi Lovato and Jordan \u201cJutes\u201d Lutes\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

When and where did the wedding take place?<\/h2>\n

People<\/em> was the first to confirm<\/a> the wedding would take place on Sunday, May 25. Vogue<\/em> later revealed<\/a> the ceremony took place in California.<\/p>\n

What did Demi Lovato wear?<\/h2>\n

As far as we can tell, Lovato wore three stunning wedding gowns over Memorial Day weekend, starting with her rehearsal look on May 24. In a video circulated by TMZ<\/em><\/a>, Lovato wore a strapless bridal gown with a dramatic thigh slit while the groom was decked out in a black tuxedo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You can tell their trip down the aisle was a practice run, as the seats were half empty and everyone else was dressed far more casually. In further images shared by DeuxMoi<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> Lovato can be seen walking in white kitten heels, stopping to say hello to a few puppies on the premises.<\/p>\n

On May 25, Vogue<\/em> shared<\/a> the first look at Lovato\u2019s actual wedding gown<\/a>: a custom Vivienne Westwood design featuring an off-the-shoulder corseted bodice and A-line skirt in pearl-white silk satin.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne\u2019s designs\u2014specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,\u201d Lovato told Vogue,<\/em> revealing she found inspiration online. \u201cWe were not only able to work off that [initial] inspiration, but we added touches that really make this dress so special to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, Lovato switched into another Vivienne Westwood design, this time a strapless column dress draped in pearls. You can see both looks here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lovato seemed to have hinted at her wedding looks back in October 2024, wearing a similar corseted strapless design to the Glamour<\/em> Women of the Year event in New York City.<\/p>\n

Who was in attendance?<\/h2>\n

Lovato and Lutes were surrounded by friends and family throughout the rehearsal and ceremony, though details have yet to be released. We do know the festivities were photographed by Jose Villa, who also captured the couple\u2019s engagement photos<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

What do they have planned for the future?<\/h2>\n

Like their engagement, Lovato wants to enjoy married life with Lutes before they expand their family. \u201cI\u2019m not ready to give up my alone time with [Jordan],\u201d she told Teen Vogue<\/em><\/a> in September 2024. \u201cI live and breathe for our connection,\u201d Lovato also said of her partner. \u201cEverything I do, I wish was with him.
