BET Awards 2025: See Every Celebrity on the Red Carpet<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
It\u2019s time for the <\/span>2025 BET Awards<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Many of the biggest names in entertainment arrived to celebrate the 25th anniversary of culture\u2019s biggest night\u2014which honors music, film, TV and sports\u2014at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles June 9.<\/span><\/p>\n Emmy winner<\/a>\u00a0Jharrel Jerome<\/strong>\u00a0arrived sporting a black-and-white ensemble, including a pair of wide-leg, patterned slacks,<\/span>\u00a0while\u00a0<\/span>American Idol<\/em> winner Jordin Sparks<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>dazzled in a salmon-colored, long-sleeved dress.<\/span><\/p>\n Rapper\u00a0Bow Wow<\/strong><\/a> also walked the red carpet in a white, long-sleeved button down and black slacks. He completed the look with a pair of black Prada loafers and a matching bolo tie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Another icon that graced the red carpet of the awards ceremony was the evening\u2019s host <\/span>Kevin Hart<\/strong><\/a>\u2014who is also a nominee for Best Actor\u2014who, inspired by his words calling the night \u201ca Black-Tie affair,\u201d wore a black tux and bowtie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI love a celebration! It\u2019s a chance to reflect, cherish and honor life\u2019s unforgettable moments,\u201d Hart shared in an April 22 statement to <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/em><\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m truly honored to host the 25th BET Awards and celebrate the culture\u2019s biggest night.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The event will recognize numerous Black creators and entertainers, including music nominees <\/span>Kendrick Lamar<\/strong><\/a>, who leads the night with 10 nominations, and <\/span>Doechii<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Drake<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Future <\/strong>and <\/span>GloRilla<\/strong>, who each have six.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Following closely behind, <\/span>The Weeknd<\/strong><\/a> and <\/span>SZA<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>each received four nods, while <\/span>Teddy Swims<\/strong>, <\/span>Chris Brown<\/strong>, <\/span>Lil Wayne<\/strong> and many others earned three nominations.<\/span><\/p>\n Movies and TV will also be celebrated, with stars like <\/span>Zendaya<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>and <\/span>Viola Davis <\/strong>vying for Best Actress and <\/span>Denzel Washington<\/strong>, <\/span>Colman Domingo<\/strong> and <\/span>Will Smith<\/strong><\/a> up against Hart for Best Actor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/span>Gilbert Flores\/Variety via Getty Images<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n Athletes like <\/span>Simone Biles<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Coco Gauff<\/strong> and <\/span>Angel Reese<\/strong> are nominated for Sportswoman of the Year, while <\/span>2025 Super Bowl<\/span><\/a> winners <\/span>Jalen Hurts<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>and <\/span>Saquon Barkley<\/strong> are up against basketball stars <\/span>LeBron James<\/strong> and <\/span>Stephen Curry <\/strong>for Sportsman of the Year.<\/span><\/p>\n The 2025 BET Awards will air live tonight, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
