To the Indianapolis 500,\u00a0<\/p>\n

Every time May rolls around, I start thinking about how special this place really is. There\u2019s just nothing like it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you come on race day, it\u2019s an event you\u2019ve never seen before. The sheer number of people, the atmosphere, the history \u2014 it\u2019s unreal. You feel it the second you roll through the gates.<\/p>\n

[The race] challenges you in every way \u2014 mentally, physically, emotionally. And when things come together, it rewards you in a way no other race can.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019s been seven years since I won the 500, and I still remember every second of that day. Driving into victory lane with that many people cheering \u2026 it gives you goosebumps. As a driver, it\u2019s the ultimate feeling \u2014 something you dream about from the start of your career.<\/p>\n

This race isn\u2019t just another stop on the calendar. It\u2019s the one we all want. It challenges you in every way \u2014 mentally, physically, emotionally. And when things come together, it rewards you in a way no other race can.<\/p>\n

The fans are a huge part of what makes it all so special. You show up rain or shine, year after year, and bring an energy that lifts everyone. That\u2019s part of what keeps the 500 alive and thriving after all these years.<\/p>\n
