\n The 3,300-home estate\u00a0is due to be finished in 2026 and was initially granted planning permission in 2008, with a surgery included.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board\u00a0is in charge of delivering primary health care for the area.\n<\/p>\n
\n \n An updated planning application, which outlined the details of the centre and how it will serve the local community, was submitted to the district council in February and approved on Wednesday, April 2.\n<\/p>\n \n This revised proposal addressed concerns from the initial application, and\u00a0highlighted the sustainability measures to be implemented, such as the use of low-energy LEDs.\n<\/p>\n \n It features updated design information set out in a detailed design statement.\n<\/p>\n \n This statement\u00a0explains the design concept and principles that have been developed and incorporated into the proposed building,\u00a0such as setting out landscaping, as well as parking arrangement.\n<\/p>\n \n Vale of White Horse District Council said all parties are now working together to progress the next steps.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\nGreat Western Park in Didcot (Image: Taylor Wimpey)<\/em><\/span> The organisation has been working with Woodlands Medical Centre, developer Assura, and Vale of White Horse District Council<\/a> to push the project forward.\n<\/p>\n
