A clash reportedly broke out in Udo Community, Benin, after a police<\/strong><\/a> officer allegedly assaulted a soldier<\/strong><\/a> for refusing to give him money<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The incident, which surfaced on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has sparked widespread reactions online.<\/p>\n

According to the viral post, the assaulted soldier reported the matter to his colleagues, who then stormed the police post in large numbers.<\/p>\n

They identified the officer involved, seized his rifle, and disciplined the officers allegedly responsible for the assault.<\/p>\n

In the video shared online, one of the angry soldiers can be heard saying: \u201cThis police, una dey beat soldiers. Una get mind oo. Na their rifle be this. Una say make e give you money, e no gree, you\u2019re beating a soldier.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The soldier explained that despite identifying himself as a military personnel, the police still proceeded to assault him after he declined their demand for money.<\/p>\n

As the video made its way online, many users took to the comment section to express their outrage and call for proper disciplinary action.<\/p>\n
