Nigerians dig out old videos of Mmesoma\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> controversial JAMB<\/strong><\/a> result after the board owned up to an error that caused thousands of students to score low on their exams.<\/p>\n

It would be recalled that in 2023, the student Mmesoma<\/strong> <\/a>had claimed to have scored say 362.<\/p>\n

In the old video that surfaced, Mmesoma noted that she had seen that score in the result she printed from her JAMB portal.<\/p>\n

However, she had admitted to inflating her true score of 249 to 362, after she was thoroughly interrogated<\/strong><\/a> by the board, following a report of forgery.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, JAMB had reported that over 1.5 million students had scored below 200.<\/p>\n

Following this, inconsistencies began to spring up online as past high scorers reported extremely low scores.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Investigations were conducted which led to a discovery of an error that had affected thousands of students in Lagos and the South-east.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Netizens have began to cast doubts about the credibility of the board as they dug out old videos of Mmesoma presenting her results, which she claimed to have printed from their portal.<\/p>\n

One netizen, @dangbanamanager said \u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, it\u2019s possible they tampered with this girl\u2019s result from the back end?<\/em><\/p>\n

JAMB has proven time and again that it can\u2019t be trusted with something as critical as an exam that determines the future of thousands.<\/em><\/p>\n

A child has already taken their own life because of this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

@doziecuit<\/strong> opined: \u201cThis girl\u2019s result was tampered with, I said it then, and I stand by it till this day.<\/em><\/p>\n

That girl was innocent, but she couldn\u2019t do much because of how we have been conditioned as a people.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

@AdekunleOderind commented: \u201cWe have many problems with our educational system but when the integrity of the examination body is in doubt or questioned then we have a bigger problem. How then do we know if the previous years failures were as a result of failed system or glitches. Who will review the examination of those years?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

@_godknowsme_<\/strong> said: \u201cFinally, we could conclude when this girl admitted she forged her result, she was under duress. JAMB need to apologize to her.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
