The company announced the launch of its first food truck, with the capacity to serve hundreds of Dave\u2019s famous tenders and sliders, along with all the sides which have made Dave\u2019s an international sensation.<\/p>\n

Coachella attendees can catch the Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken food truck, which will be passing out limited edition trucker caps, on both Coachella weekends, Thursday through Sunday, at the Festival Campgrounds from 7am-3pm and 7pm-2am. For those inside the festival, Dave\u2019s will also be serving up their craveable tenders and sliders at a food booth in Indio Central Market next to second stage from 1pm-11pm Friday through Sunday.<\/p>\n

The company first teased its food truck during the Rolling Loud festival earlier this year at Hollywood Park, dropping limited merch and unlimited flavor.<\/p>\n

Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken\u2019s first food truck is owned and operated by Vahe Kallibjian. Vahe\u2019s history with the company tracks back to the company\u2019s original brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2018 where he served as manager, before becoming the founding group\u2019s restaurant developer, and now partner. Vahe brings decades of guerrilla roots event marketing expertise with an intimate understanding of the Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken business to his ownership and operation of Dave\u2019s first food truck.<\/p>\n

In a modern-day American dream story, three childhood friends, Chef Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan and Tommy Rubenyan, scraped together $900 to launch Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken in a parking lot, portable fryers and folding tables in tow, in 2017. Dave\u2019s Hot Chicken quickly took off, opening an East Hollywood brick-and-mortar restaurant shortly after, with support from Tommy\u2019s brother, Gary.
