Warner Bros. Television<\/a> has upped Clancy Collins White to the newly established position of president of Creative Affairs. In this role, Collins White will oversee the studio\u2019s TV production unit for live-action scripted programming, which will include dramas, comedies and limited series, and will add oversight when it comes to casting and research.<\/p>\n

Collins White will report directly to Channing Dungey, the newly appointed chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group and Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Networks. While Collins White will oversee the creative side of the studio, Brett Paul will continue to oversee the business side. Paul was named president of Warner Bros. Television Group as well as COO of U.S. Networks in December of last year. In this role, he is also responsible for oversight of WB\u2019s unscripted television as well as its TV animation studios.<\/p>\n

Collins White will also oversee WBTV\u2019s Comedy Development, which is led by Adrienne Turner; its Drama Development, which is led by Parul Agrawal; and will supervise Audience and Content Research and Insights, which is led by Jeanne Cotton. Dungey will continue to oversee Current Programming, which is led by Vicki Dummer.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Mele Nagler, who previously served as WBTV\u2019s casting chief, has been promoted to EVP and head of Casting. Nagler will continue to oversee the casting for live-action scripted projects, manage WBTV\u2019s studio casting executives team and supervise the hiring of independent casting directors. She will report to Collins White.<\/p>\n

Under Collins White\u2019s supervision, WBTV has launched Max\u2019s medical drama \u201cThe Pitt,\u201d Netflix\u2019s basketball workplace comedy \u201cRunning Point,\u201d CBS\u2019 \u201cBig Bang Theory\u201d spinoff \u201cGeorgie & Mandy\u2019s First Marriage\u201d and Apple TV+\u2019s dark comedy \u201cBad Monkey\u201d \u2014 all of which have casts assembled by Nagler and have been renewed for second seasons.<\/p>\n
