What impressed me the most was the <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/bsv-stories-episode-10-the-future-has-already-arrived-in-nigeria-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">younger generation\u2019s thirst for education in technologies such as blockchain<\/a>, actively seeking ways to learn more about it.<\/p>\n<p>So I wondered, what\u2019s the younger generation\u2019s interest in learning about frontier technologies within Europe? What kind of education opportunities are they provided with? And what about education for <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/real-strategies-for-sustainable-tech-in-enterprise-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">government and enterprises<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>To get a feel for European students\u2019 interest in frontier tech, I spent some time with stakeholders and high school students from the \u201cInnovators of Tomorrow\u201d program in Poznan, Poland.\u00a0This presentation has been designed to dissolve stereotypes about the tech industry and encourage students to enter the space by equipping them with knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xrQbvSdmqb8?si=KfAYsfdE6GTn4t1u&#038;controls=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen> title=&#8221;YouTube video player&#8221; frameborder=&#8221;0&#8243; allow=&#8221;accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share&#8221; referrerpolicy=&#8221;strict-origin-when-cross-origin&#8221; allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The opportunity presented itself during the <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/tech-of-tomorrow-highlights-exploring-tools-of-the-future-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tech of Tomorrow Conference<\/a> on March 19-20, 2025, an event organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/news\/tag\/dr-agata-slater\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Agata Slater<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marcinrzetecki\/?originalSubdomain=pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Marcin Rzetecki<\/a>, both members of the Polish Blockchain Association and advocates of the Innovators of Tomorrow program.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Tech-of-Tomorrow-Poznan-1-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Tech of Tomorrow Poznan event\"  ><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThis was a session that we held where we invited secondary school students to pitch their ideas that they had prepared throughout the Innovators of Tomorrow program,\u201d shared Dr. Slater. \u201cAnd this has been a huge success because it\u2019s something new and different in a conference, where you invite fresh kids who are passionate about these topics, and you start building these capabilities from really, really bottom up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see there is so much energy and passion and creativity in these kids, and I think that\u2019s injected a lot of energy and freshness and their energy radiated to the audience. So, that was really amazing,\u201d Dr. Slater added.<\/p>\n<p>Rzetecki has a unique perspective on Innovators of Tomorrow as he has a daughter in high school who is part of the program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI see every day that they are using the mobile phone, they learn a lot of about the technologies, they talk a lot of about the technologies, but they don\u2019t have experience with the soft skills, with the presentation, to prepare the presentation, the art of selling, to presenting the project to the investor, for instance,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dorotadublanka\/?originalSubdomain=pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dorota Dublanka<\/a>, President of Cyberium Foundation of the Polish National Clearing House, is also passionate about the program and has clearly built strong relationships with the students, as anyone who watched the session during <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/tech-of-tomorrow-how-innovative-techs-can-be-used-in-practice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tech of Tomorrow<\/a> saw.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Tech-of-Tomorrow-Poznan-2-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Tech of Tomorrow Poznan event\"  ><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe are providing the workshops during the Innovators of Tomorrow,\u201d Dublanka revealed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were two of our specialist experts from our foundation; one was very important based on the soft skills\u2014that\u2019s collaboration, communication\u2014but also how to go to the business, and the second one, it was really technology because we have a specialist from blockchain,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Tech-of-Tomorrow-Poznan-3-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Tech of Tomorrow Poznan event\"  ><\/figure>\n<p>I had an opportunity to speak with a few students directly following their startup pitches on stage to get an idea of what they learned from the program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the program, mainly I learned how we could <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/how-ai-iot-and-bsv-blockchain-revolutionize-agriculture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">use blockchain, Internet of Things, and AI technology<\/a> to develop solutions to problems, specifically with things like finance.\u00a0We\u2019ve also learned team building skills and how we can improve our soft skills,\u201d shared Marcel of Techni Schools Lublin &#038; Co-Founder of GhostPay.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Tech-of-Tomorrow-Poznan-4-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Tech of Tomorrow Poznan event\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>I think most of the skills that are the most valuable for me are technological skills. I knew almost nothing about it, and right now, I can say I think I know a bit and also about the group work, how to do it the best, how to connect with my teammates and staff, and also the performances; it became really less stressful,\u201d added Natasha of Secondary School of the EKOS Foundation in Swarz\u0119dz &#038; Co-Founder of LILYSKIN.<\/p>\n<figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Tech-of-Tomorrow-Poznan-5-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Tech of Tomorrow Poznan event\"  ><\/figure>\n<p>The students were also happy to share details on what <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/blockchain101\/from-digital-to-real-life-7-problems-blockchain-can-solve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">real-world problems<\/a> their startups are tackling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we are solving is a problem of <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/blockchain-privacy-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy<\/a>\u00a0and how we could use crypto\u2019s potential in everyday tasks like online shopping.\u00a0Our project focuses on how we can keep privacy of users while they spend their money online,\u201d explained Marcel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>We have a skincare application, so it solves the problems of people who are unable to create their own skincare routine,\u201d added Natasha.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we also talked about the Sephora kids issue\u2014that our kids are using active ingredients and generally products that are age-inappropriate for them. So, our app would come in really helpful for those kids, for those people to generate a skincare routine\u2026that is suited to their skin type, to their age, and everything,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Lena, also part of the LILYSKIN founding team, elaborated on the technology behind the scenes for their <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/apps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">application<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn our application, AI generates this personalized skincare routine that is suitable, customized for every user\u2019s needs.\u00a0And we also use blockchain to store the data, so it will be safer,\u201d Lena shared.<\/p>\n<p>Just like learning a new language, starting education at a young age is powerful, inspiring fresh ideas and <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/nchain-cio-christine-leong-diversity-of-thought-for-better-solutioning-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diversity<\/a> right from the start.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are like a sponge. They can learn a lot in a quite a short while. They don\u2019t have any barriers, they don\u2019t have any background, and it\u2019s quite important even to start from \u2026 scratch,\u201d shared Natalia Urba\u0144ska-Guss of Pozna\u0144 CityLab, one of the program\u2019s main partners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven in kindergarten, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/who-wants-to-be-an-entrepreneur-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teach kids to be entrepreneurs<\/a>. From the small projects, step by step, they learn what \u2026 entrepreneurship is, how to do that, what their goals could be, and so on,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>I think that this engagement should be done from the beginning, from the primary school.
