The U.S. men’s national team forward has tallied 12 goals this season, which leads Frank Lampard’s squad. Coventry could seal a playoff berth with at least one point at home, but would majorly boost their chances with an outright win.

Morris and Middlesbrough are on the outside of the top-six and ultimately need a road victory to have any chance of making the playoffs. The 23-year-old has made 34 league appearances in Michael Carrick’s squad this season, becoming a consistent player for the club.

Coventry City are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Middlesbrough, which included a 3-0 road victory at the Riverside Stadium back in November.

Elsewhere in England, Antonee Robinson and Fulham face Aston Villa as both teams continue their quest for European football for next season. Tyler Adams and Bournemouth take on Arsenal.

In Italy, Weston McKennie and Juventus face off with Bologna in a crucial Serie A showdown.

In Spain, Johnny Cardoso and Real Betis welcome Espanyol to town.

In Germany, Joe Scally and Borussia Moenchengladbach host Hoffenheim. Gio Reyna and Borussia Dortmund take on Wolfsburg.

In France, Tanner Tessmann and Lyon host Lens in Ligue 1 play. Crystal Dunn and PSG face Paris FC in the French Women’s Cup Final.

Elsewhere, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Celtic visit rivals Rangers. Jonathan Tomkinson and Ross County take on Hearts. George Bello and LASK face WSG Tirol. Griffin Yow aims to continue his scoring run against Dender. Erik Palmer-Brown and Panathinaikos take on AEK Athens. Malik Tillman and PSV face off with Fortuna Sittard.

Here is a closer look at this weekend’s Americans Abroad:

England

Soccer Premier League

Antonee Robinson and Fulham visit Aston Villa on Saturday.

Tyler Adams and Bournemouth visit Arsenal on Saturday.

Chris Richards, Matt Turner and Crystal Palace host Nottingham Forest on Monday.

Soccer Championship

Haji Wright and Coventry City host Aidan Morris and Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Josh Sargent and Norwich City host Ethan Horvath and Cardiff City on Saturday.

Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United visit Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Caleb Wiley and Watford host Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Daryl Dike and West Bromwich Albion host Luton Town on Saturday.

Lynden Gooch and Stoke City visit Derby County on Saturday.

Soccer League One

Donovan Pines and Barnsley visit Reading on Saturday.

Soccer WSL

Phallon Tullis-Joyce and Manchester United host Manchester City on Sunday.

Emily Fox and Arsenal visit Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday.

Naomi Girma, Catarina Macario, Mia Fishel and Chelsea visit Tottenham on Sunday.

Germany

Soccer Bundesliga

Joe Scally and Borussia Moenchengladbach host Hoffenheim on Saturday.

John Tolkin and Holstein Kiel visit Noahkai Banks and Augsburg on Sunday.

Gio Reyna, Cole Campbell and Borussia Dortmund host Kevin Paredes and Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Timmy Chandler and Eintracht Frankfurt visit Lennard Maloney and Mainz on Sunday.

James Sands is OUT (Injury) for St. Pauli.

Soccer 2.
