The brand experienced a sales increase of 10.7 percent in the first three months of the year compared to 2024, selling 198,850 vehicles. March was particularly remarkable for Kia, with sales rising 13.1 percent year-over-year to reach 78,540 units.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Kia K4 dropped from its top position in January to second place, behind the Sportage, which became the brand\u2019s best-selling model in 2024. Sales of the Sportage increased by 10.9 percent in March and 10.8 percent for the quarter. Meanwhile, K4 sales rose by 10.1 percent in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>In the first quarter of 2025, the Telluride ranked as Kia\u2019s third-best-selling vehicle, with sales increasing by 16.6 percent. The Carnival also experienced significant growth, soaring by 52.7 percent during the same period. Additionally, sales of the Sorento rose by a healthy 12.9 percent. The EV6 and EV9, Kia\u2019s electric flagship vehicles, experienced<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>drops of 7.9% and 6.3%, respectively, with 3,738 EV6s and 3,756 EV9s sold from January to March. Furthermore, the sales of the Kia Soul plummeted by 9.4%, decreasing from 12,452 to 11,277 units. The Niro and Seltos also faced significant setbacks, with sales falling sharply by 31.5% and 23.1%, respectively.
