Quinn Sullivan<\/a>‘s stock continues to rise for club and country.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n The Philadelphia Union<\/a> homegrown midfielder netted his first goal of the year with a half-volley stunner that opened the score in Saturday’s 3-0 blowout<\/a> of Atlanta United<\/a> at Subaru Park.<\/p>\n Sullivan’s golazo was followed by a late assist as he reached five helpers \u2013 already more than half his total from his breakout 2024 season \u2013 through Matchday 9.<\/p>\n The 1g\/1a performance, and the 21-year-old’s overall form, further boost Sullivan’s case as a possible option for US men’s national team<\/a> head coach Mauricio Pochettino ahead of this summer’s Concacaf Gold Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cReally happy for Quinn. It shows how great a teammate we have in Tai.\u201d<\/p>\n Saturday’s result snapped both a two-game scoreless streak and a three-game winless streak for the Union, who posted their fourth clean sheet of the season despite going down a man due to Jovan Lukic<\/a>‘s 56th-minute red card.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t feel we\u2019ve played badly over the last three games.
