Her sister, Xenia Raye completed a one-two finish for West Warwick, claiming silver in 7.06. In the qualifying round, Lisa clocked 6.86, while Xenia produced a 7.12 run.<\/p>\n<p>The Raye sisters also secured the top two spots in the 300m. Lisa won in 40.24 seconds, while Xenia was second in 40.57. Lisa had things all her own way in the 55m hurdles, clocking 8.11 in the final for a huge cushion on the field. She was also fastest in the preliminaries, getting to the line in 8.20 and in the long jump, the 17-year-old phenom had a golden leap of 5.81 metres.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa has been in superb form during the 2025 indoor season, her best showing to date coming two weekends ago at the Millrose Games, in New York, where she established a new Girls Under-18 indoor 60m world record, the Trinidad and Tobago sprinter crossing the line in 7.13 seconds for gold in the high school girls\u2019 60m dash.<\/p>\n<p>Raye is the 60m world leader in both the Girls Under-18 and Under-20 categories, thanks to her 7.13 scorcher. She is eighth on the women\u2019s 60m list. Raye is second on the global under-18 200m list at 23.39 seconds and tenth among the Under-20s.<\/p>\n<p>At the Tiger Paw Invitational, in South Carolina, University of Texas senior Kelsey Daniel produced a 7.44m leap for ninth spot in the men\u2019s long jump. Ohio State University senior Leah Bertrand got home in 7.30 seconds for 13th spot overall in the Women\u2019s 60m. University of Georgia freshman Sole Frederick finished 13th in the Women\u2019s invitational 200m in 23.40, while Bertrand was 22nd in 23.78.<\/p>\n<p>In Washington, Nathan Cumberbatch finished third in his section and ninth overall in the Husky Classic Men\u2019s 800m. The University of Southern California (USC) sophomore clocked one minute, 48.82 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>At the Music City Challenge, in Tennessee, Arkansas State University sophomore Reneisha Andrews was ninth overall in the women\u2019s 60m dash in 7.50 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>At the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championships, in South Dakota, Morningside University junior, Jaydon Moore, was tenth in the men\u2019s 60m in 7.03 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>In Arkansas, University of Alabama junior Christopher Crawford finished 12th in the Tyson Invitational Men\u2019s shot put event with an 18.04 metres effort. Barton Community College freshman Natasha Fox was 23rd in the Women\u2019s 400m in 56.02 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>At the Windy City Invite, in Illinois, Dominic Cole clocked 21.88 seconds for 14th spot in the Men\u2019s 200m. The DePaul University senior was 28th in the 60m in 7.02.<\/p>\n<p>At the SW Isaac Henry Invitational in Kingston, Jamaica.<\/p>\n<p>Jamaica College (JC) student Kaeden Herbert struck gold in the Boys Class 2 200m in 22.11 seconds. Camperdown High School\u2019s Kyah Hyson was the class of the Girls Class 3 400m event, winning in 58.23. Makaelan Woods clocked 48.80 for fourth spot overall in the boys\u2019 Class 1 400m. The JC student was eighth in the Boys Class 1 200m in 21.73.<\/p>\n<p>In Spanish Town, Jamaica, Nathanael Quashie was golden in the Western Champs Boys Class 4 high jump.
