Barry Ferguson wants clarity on the managerial situation at Rangers as soon as possible after they were knocked out of the Europa League quarter-finals by Athletic Bilbao.<\/p>\n Having secured a goalless draw in the first leg, the Gers were undone by Oihan Sancet\u2019s penalty and Nico Williams\u2019 thumping header in a 2-0 defeat at San Mames.<\/p>\n Gers legend Ferguson has been in interim charge since Philippe Clement was sacked at the start of March.<\/p>\n With their season essentially done, Ferguson wants to try and restore some pride and to see the Ibrox outfit competing once again after a dismal Scottish Premiership campaign.<\/p>\n In quotes reported by BBC Sport, Ferguson said: \u201cWhere this leaves me now is that I\u2019m going to finish the season as strongly as possible.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve not sat down and talked about [my future] \u2013 but it needs to get sorted soon because, as a club, we need to do a lot of work.<\/p>\n \u201cThe club needs to get back challenging. I just want my club to get back to where it should be, whether it\u2019s me or someone else.<\/p>\n \u201cI was enjoying myself, but I got an opportunity not many people get.
