Photo Credit X<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Originally grouped alongside Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco, the initial draw was reshuffled following Ivory Coast\u2019s withdrawal as hosts.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt stepped in, prompting a new draw, which was conducted on Sunday. The North Africans, making their third appearance in the tournament, reached the semi-finals in the last edition but were beaten 4-0 by Nigeria in the third-place match.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria\u2019s second group match will be against Morocco on May 4 at 7pm. Nigeria, with its pedigree and experience, will be firm favourites in that encounter.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond reclaiming a title last won in 2015, the Flying Eagles will also be aiming to secure qualification for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
