President Bola Tinubu has signed into law the South-West Development Commission Bill, the South-South Development Commission Bill, and the Nigeria Anti-Doping Bill, 2025.<\/h2>\n

His Special Adviser on Senate Matters, Basheer Lado, announced this in a statement, emphasizing that the new laws align with Tinubu\u2019s vision for balanced development, regional empowerment, and Nigeria\u2019s global standing.<\/p>\n

According to Lado, the approval of the South-West and South-South Development Commissions highlights Tinubu\u2019s focus on economic growth, infrastructure development, and job creation across the country.<\/p>\n

He noted that this move builds on the earlier approval of similar commissions for the South-East and North-Central regions, demonstrating the president\u2019s commitment to nationwide progress.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy signing into law the establishment of the South-West and South-South Development Commissions, President Tinubu has reaffirmed his role as a transformational leader who prioritizes regional empowerment, economic expansion, and infrastructural excellence.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBuilding on the foundation of his earlier assent to the South-East and South-West Development Commissions, it is evident that President Tinubu is deliberate in bringing development across all regions,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> he said.<\/p>\n

Lado also explained that the newly established commissions will drive industrialization, create employment opportunities, and enhance social development, ensuring that all regions benefit from the administration\u2019s policies.<\/p>\n

Regarding the Nigeria Anti-Doping Bill, 2025, Lado stated that its enactment reinforces Nigeria\u2019s dedication to fairness in sports.<\/p>\n
