The ten-track album features six singles released in 2024 and four brand-new songs that she believes would resonate with listeners more deeply.<\/p>\n<p>Among the already released tracks are hits like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/rollingstoneindia.com\/alexas-new-single-im-okay-brings-hope-and-healing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">i\u2019m okay<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MUuPReS0nQg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sick<\/a>,\u201d with the former being an affectionate nod for those battling mental health issues, which she explained in a statement\u00a0before stems from a place of honesty and understanding; having bipolar disorder herself, she knows the complexity and challenges of \u201cfacing your darkest demons.\u201d There are more gems\u00a0on the record, including the pop-rock \u201cJoy of Missing Out,\u201d themed on self-love, and similar introspective tracks like \u201cDistraction,\u201d \u201cUnder the Armor,\u201d and \u201cEnemy.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p>\n<iframe title=\"AleXa (\uc54c\ub809\uc0ac) \u2013 'Joy Of Missing Out' Visualizer\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" data-lazy-type=\"iframe\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tOK5FKH-Bys?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The album\u2019s title track is one with thoughtful lyrics. Its sonic atmosphere and words like \u201cHold it in, cinnamon on my mind\u201d offer a distinct sense of surrealism, concurrently searing emotions. The ballad explores the repercussions of hurting someone and the conflict between sugarcoating what happened and being honest. In terms of the song \u201cFatal,\u201d it portrays a relationship that\u2019s simultaneously \u201cintoxicating\u201d\u00a0and \u201cdestructive.\u201d Reflecting on its creative process, AleXa states that turning intense emotions into music \u201cwas deeply memorable.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Next up, \u201cArrogant\u201d is about embracing nurturing oneself and being tough and defiant in the face of a toxic relationship. The track highlights identifying ego and narcissism getting in the way of things, and when they do, it\u2019s time to let go. \u201cIf they love themselves more than you, then walk away, babe,\u201d says the artist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomething New,\u201d <em>Sugarcoat<\/em>\u2019s final song, addresses varying feelings while also individual growth and development. While cathartic in tones, AleXa sounds powerful, letting her vivid vocals accentuate her thoughts.
